For women: We have a group known as the Daelite Club, which is a branch of the countrywide Anglican Women's Fellowship. It meets once a month on a Saturday afternoon.
The motto of the AWF is "United in prayer, service and love" and they do a great deal of work for the church and community as well as having interesting speakers and demonstrations.
For men: The Men's Fellowship meets once a month for
a social evening with Mass and a shared supper, with some sort of
activity, and like the AWF assist in
many ways around the parish and community.
Thursday Club: This group meets once a month on the last Thursday morning — joining in the 9am Mass — enabling the elderly and retired to have an outing and some tea and entertainment.
Networking: There are many routine jobs that need doing to keep the Parish going smoothly, but there are special tasks for which some people are gifted. From time to time we run a course called Network which is designed to help you discover any hidden talents and spiritual gifts you may have and show you how you can make a better contribution to God’s Church.
Home Groups: There are several groups in the parish, meeting in homes of parishioners. While membership is open to all, the group members must decide on whether they are willing or able (size is an issue) to admit new members.
Alpha and 'Life worth Living" courses: These are offered from time to time as a step on the road of becoming a disciple of Jesus. They will be advertised in the parish and on this web site.
Contemplative Prayer and Rosary Groups: These are offered on some Saturday afternoons on an alternating basis. The contact person is Anne MacKay.
